BENCHMARK: INTEL CORE I7 VS. AMD PHENOM II X4

O site alemão Hardware-infos liberou um benchmark realizado entre os processadores top de linha da Intel e AMD.

No total foram utilizados 6 processadores, três de cada corporação.

Do lado da Intel foram: Core i7 920 (4x 2.66 GHz), i7 940 (4x 2.93 GHz) e i7 965 XE (4x 3.20 GHz); este último a versão Extreme Edition da linha i7.

Do lado da AMD foram utilizados: Phenom II X4 920 (4x 2.80 GHz), X4 940 (4x 3.00 GHz) e X4 955 (4x 3.20 GHz).

Screenshots – Benchmarks

Resultado obtido: Intel Core i7 é o que obteve melhor resultado na grande maioria dos testes realizados, entretanto, tem alta dissipação de energia. Já o Phenom II X4 possui o melhor Custo x Benefício.
